Over-the-phone Interpreters
If you are looking to earn a supplemental income from home then perhaps you would do well in the position of an over-the-phone interpreter with Pacific Interpreters. Being an independent contractor with Pacific Interpreters, you are responsible for setting the times that you will be available for interpretation. The medical interpreter is a critical component of effective healthcare for everyone. Without there being effective communication between the physician and patient, the diagnosis as well as the treatment can become much harder and less accurate. This will force longer hospital stays, expensive diagnostic testing and less reliable results.

Our clients are provided with translation of social service and medical documents which include the following: healthcare forms, patient handouts, provider training materials, web pages as well as many other kinds of healthcare communications.
